Answers
Do you take bookings?
Absolutely! Whilst we will always do our best to accommodate customers without a booking, we definitely recommend bookings in order to avoid disappointment. Please contact us on (03) 6234 1903 or drop us an email alternatively and we will be very pleased to help with a reservation.
Can we bring our own BYO wine or beer?
We are fully licensed and believe that we offer a fantastic selection of beers, wines, spirits and liqueurs - as a result we cannot accept any BYO and appreciate your understanding.
Do you offer Set Menu's?
Yes we do. We are happy to offer Set Menu's to any group size but please let us know in advance if you are interested so that we can be sure to accommodate this request. Please contact us on (03) 6234 1903 or drop us an email alternatively and we will be very pleased to provide you with our current set menu options and their respective pricing.
Can you bake us a cake for a celebration? Or can we bring our own cake?
Yes, we would be very pleased to bake a celebratory cake for you (the smaller size is $45 and larger is $65). Please note that we need at least 2 days' notice for a cake order - so please let us know in advance. The smaller size is perfect for groups of up to 8 to 10 people. If the group is any larger, we recommend the larger size. The cake types that we could do for you are listed below:
- - Chocolate truffle cake
- - Chocolate hazelnut tort
- - Flour-less orange cake
- - Baked cheese cake (chocolate or mixed berry)
- - Lemon tart
If you'd prefer to bring your own cake, please let us know in advance and be aware that we do have to charge a $4.50 "cakeage" for each person (up to a maximum of $55 for the group). We can then take receipt of the cake on the night, keep it safe (and refridgerated if appropriate), serve it when you're ready for it, take it back into the kitchen to be sliced up and then served up on individual plates together with premium Tasmanian vanilla bean ice cream.
Can you cater for specific dietary requirements?
Whilst we are primarily a seafood restaurant, we do offer a good selection of non-seafood options including beef, chicken and vegetarian. We will also do our very best to cater for any specific dietary requirements as necessary. Please contact us on (03) 6234 1903 or drop us an email alternatively and we will be very pleased to discuss any specifics with you in advance of your booking.
Do you split bills?
Please note that we do require one payment per table please - we thank you for your understanding. In terms of payment options, we are able to accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, JCB and American Express. American Express cards will incur a 2% surcharge.
Are you open on Christmas Day?
I am sorry to say that we are in fact closed on Christmas Day - it's the one day of the year that we do shut but we're open from 6pm every other day around it!
